Linphone is an open source SIP phone for voice/video calls and instant messaging, and is available for mobile and desktop environments.

Many new features are still under development on a medium- or long-term basis. Please feel free to contact us if you want to know more about our development roadmap, or if you are interested in financing the development of a particular feature.

HD video calls in full screen mode

Contact address book with presence status

Linphone’s address book consists in a smart contact list that clearly indicates which of your friends can be contacted via the app.

The “Link your account” function allows you to link an existing account with a phone number, for better identification of Linphone users. The list is updated as new users register with the service.

Multi-call management

You can handle several calls at a time, for example:
• Pause and resume calls
• Transfer calls
• Add calls to a conference call
• Receive notifications of incoming calls while already on a call

Recording feature

• Recording is available for your one/one & group calls

• Record your calls to be able to transcribe them more easily

• Are you unsure of the information given during a remote meeting or a training course? Listen to the recording.

• A message will be displayed to inform you that the call is recorded.

Unified call and chat history

• See the entire history with each contact in one place, or filter items by CALLS or MESSAGES
• Benefit from quick access to your recent events from the summary view on the left
